Map Design

Rick Franklin Corporation, which operates the Albany Eastern Railway in my hometown of Lebanon, OR, reached out to me to create a custom map design for their 50th Anniversary celebration. The event was a family-friendly gathering filled with activities for all ages, and the map served as a central guide to help visitors navigate and enjoy the experience. To ensure accuracy, I toured the company’s yard, studied reference photos, and analyzed aerial views to capture the layout and details. The result is a vibrant, highly detailed map that highlights the unique vehicles and equipment on display, while capturing the fun, welcoming spirit of the event.

The screen shows a digital webpage layout with various sections, featuring vibrant and colorful graphics. In the foreground, a desk with a notebook and some handwritten notes is visible, while another partially visible screen displays a scenic green landscape.
